About this tour

Bhutan is entered overland at Phuentsholing, on the West Bengal border. Thimphu, the capital, sits in a valley at about 2,300 metres and has no traffic lights.

Punakha Dzong stands where the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers meet and was the seat of government until 1955. Taktsang — the Tiger's Nest — is a monastery on a cliff face above the Paro valley, reached on foot.

Questions

A group tour runs on fixed dates with other travellers. A customized tour runs on your dates, for only your group.

Send an enquiry with your dates and the number of travellers. We will confirm availability and explain what is needed to confirm the booking.

Tell us the dates that do. If enough travellers want the same window we may be able to add a departure, and if not we can quote it as a private trip.
