About this tour
Shimla was the British summer capital and still runs along one ridge, with the Mall and Christ Church at its centre. Kufri sits a little above it.
The Kullu valley follows the Beas north to Manali. Above Manali the Rohtang Pass crosses at about 3,980 metres into Lahaul, and since 2020 the Atal Tunnel has run under it. Manikaran, in the side valley towards Kasol, is known for its hot springs.
